To date, ICSO has set up three independent branches and is operating more than 150 public welfare projects in 12 countries and 54 regions, making it the largest Chinese student-led public welfare organization in the world. The new branch in Zuo Yun County will focus on nurturing local youth volunteers by providing professional training, resource connections, and project implementation opportunities, inspiring their passion for public service and promoting sustainable community development.

Since its establishment on October 29, 2022, the Zuo Yun County Youth Volunteer Association has been actively involved in organizing and participating in various volunteer activities. Its signature projects, such as the “Walking with You” initiative for left-behind children and the “Youth with Me” university student volunteer service, have had a stable social impact and have greatly helped local youth address pressing issues. The collaboration with ICSO will bring a broader international perspective and more professional resources to the association, further enhancing the professionalism and impact of their volunteer services.

Together, they will launch youth-focused public welfare projects, ensuring the sustainable development of local charitable initiatives and generating long-term positive effects on the community. Additionally, they will establish regular brand initiatives, contributing to environmental sanitation and assisting disadvantaged groups. Lastly, the partnership will enhance their efforts in environmental advocacy, working together to improve the local ecological environment.

The establishment of ICSO’s branch at the Zuo Yun County Youth Volunteer Association will undoubtedly inject new vitality into the region’s public welfare initiatives.
