In the past 2020 novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak has been raging around the world, and global public health security is facing serious threat. The world economy is also in deep recession. In this turbulent year, we have faced too many parting and bitterness, but we have also witnessed the dedication and greatness of the people.
We see that at the first time of the outbreak, countless medical workers in China are facing difficulties and difficulties. They are sticking to the front line of the epidemic prevention, building a solid the Great Wall for public health and people’s safety, and also the first shot of COVID-19’s battle.
After the outbreak of the epidemic, dozens of staff of the three subordinate branches of ICSO international public welfare organization voluntarily gave up their holidays and entered the “war preparation” state. Before the closure of Wuhan, the on-the-job staff of the Chinese branch had completed the procurement of anti epidemic materials. With the rapid response of all staff and the cooperation of various institutions and organizations, we delivered the support materials to Wuhan front-line hospital in only three days.
In the early stage of the epidemic with an extreme shortage of medical materials, ICSO donated more than 100000 medical masks. In addition, ICSO subsequently launched the “Wuhan citizens’ free mask program” and “affordable mask purchase program” for many times, which helped slow down the spread of the epidemic.
“No one is an isolated island”. The epidemic is relentless. Numerous enterprises and individuals are facing the crisis brought about by the epidemic. These problems have become great challenges for many transnational public welfare teams, and ICSO is no exception.

In the past year, the total annual donation of global public welfare has doubled. In China, the number of interactions on the 99 public welfare day led by Tencent reached 1.899 billion, 2.15 times that of last year; 57.8 million caring netizens donated a total of 2.32 billion yuan through Tencent public welfare platform. ICSO has also implemented many development changes in 2020.
In China, ICSO · CN established a new branch of SIFC, joined hands with China Social Assistance Foundation to implement the “Kunpeng student aid” project for the first time, and participated in Tencent 99 public welfare day. In addition, ICSO has reached strategic cooperation with yibeiti education and set up independent offices in Shenzhen, Shanxi, Hunan and other places;
In the UK, ICSO · UK has reached cooperation with Durham University in the UK, set up an office in London, launched the wanlvzhiqing public welfare project, successfully held more than 20 public welfare activities, and made great contributions to marine protection and wildlife protection;
In the United States, the “light bearer” phase II project launched by ICSO · us raised more than 200000 US dollars, helping tens of thousands of poor American families affected by the epidemic.
